Neoprene drysuits are soft in texture and highly elastic, with the advantages of excellent thermal insulation, sturdiness, durability and ease of repair. They are mainly designed for low-temperature cold water environments and are not suitable for warm waters.
Such drysuits are typically made of high-density specialized neoprene. For cost-effective solutions, regular-density neoprene can also be used. The latter features lower density, higher buoyancy and weaker compression resistance, resulting in relatively inferior overall performance, yet with a more favorable cost structure.
The drawbacks of this type of product include relatively high self-weight, noticeable buoyancy, significant compression under water pressure (especially with conventional materials), and long drying time.
Constructed from closed-cell foamed neoprene laminated with airtight fabric, neoprene drysuits achieve complete water isolation through neck and wrist seals plus airtight zippers, with no heat exchange via a body surface water film. They can work with built-in thermal liners to provide long-lasting low-temperature protection, making them ideal for cold waters, deep diving, long-duration underwater operations and ice diving.
Featuring good compression resistance and seawater aging resistance, together with exhaust valves and wear-resistant reinforced structures, they can stably maintain body heat in extremely low-temperature environments, serving as core heavy-duty equipment for professional deep diving, marine engineering and scientific research diving.

Quality Control, Compliance, and Traceability

Responsible manufacturing relies on systematic controls rather than subjective judgment. Yiheng integrates quality management throughout the entire production process—from incoming raw material inspections to in-process inspections, finished product inspections, and final packaging controls—to form a comprehensive closed-loop quality system.

The factory has established a standardized management system and obtained certifications such as BSCI, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 to support production management, process standardization, and continuous improvement. Professional Neoprene Drysuit Factory Sale.

By leveraging an integrated process that encompasses the handling, lamination, cutting, sewing, printing, inspection, and packaging of neoprene materials, Yiheng is able to achieve greater coordination and traceability across all stages of production. This reduces avoidable errors, enhances product consistency, and delivers more reliable results to our customers.

Material and Construction

Our drysuits use high-density specialized neoprene for maximum thermal insulation and compression resistance. For cost-sensitive projects, we can specify regular-density neoprene, which offers lower density and higher buoyancy but with reduced performance under pressure. We select the material based on your working depth, water temperature, and budget.

  • Closed-cell foam: Provides inherent buoyancy and insulation without water absorption.
  • Airtight lamination: Ensures complete water tightness when combined with seals and zippers.
  • Reinforced seams: Taped or welded seams for long-term durability in harsh conditions.
  • Exhaust valves: Allow air purging to control buoyancy and reduce squeeze.

Application Fit

Neoprene drysuits are designed for low-temperature water environments where wet suits are insufficient. They are not intended for warm waters. Typical applications include:

  • Professional diving: Deep dives, cold-water expeditions, and underwater construction.
  • Marine engineering: Long-duration underwater operations requiring sustained body heat.
  • Scientific research: Data collection in polar or sub-zero conditions.
  • Ice diving: Extreme cold environments where reliable thermal protection is critical.

Customization and OEM/ODM Services

We support private label and custom development. From material selection to final design, we work with your specifications to create drysuits that meet your brand's requirements. Our integrated production line—from splitting and lamination to sewing and finishing—ensures traceability and consistency.

We can adjust thickness, color, logo placement, and add features like integrated hoods, pockets, or specific valve configurations. For bulk orders, we provide samples for approval before mass production.

Quality Assurance and Compliance

Our factory operates with a closed-loop quality system, from incoming raw material inspection to final packaging. We hold BSCI, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 certifications, supporting standardized management and environmental responsibility. Each drysuit undergoes pressure testing and visual inspection to ensure water tightness and workmanship.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a neoprene drysuit and a breathable drysuit?

Neoprene drysuits provide inherent insulation and buoyancy, making them ideal for cold water without additional undergarments. Breathable drysuits are typically lighter and allow moisture vapor to escape, but require separate thermal layers. Neoprene is more durable and easier to repair, while breathable suits offer more flexibility in layering.

Can I get a custom size or fit?

Yes, we offer made-to-measure services. Provide your body measurements, and we will adjust the pattern to ensure a comfortable, watertight fit. This is especially important for professional divers who spend long hours in the water.

What thickness of neoprene is best for my application?

For water temperatures below 10°C, we typically recommend 7mm or thicker. For 10-15°C, 5-7mm is suitable. Our team can advise based on your specific conditions and dive duration.

Do you provide samples before bulk production?

Yes, we can produce a sample for your approval. The sample fee is refundable when you place a bulk order. This allows you to verify fit, quality, and features before committing to mass production.

What is your typical lead time?

Standard in-stock models ship within 1-3 days. Custom orders typically take 7-15 days for production, depending on complexity and quantity. We work with your schedule to meet project deadlines.
